The Oilskin canvas hats are ideal for travelling as they are lightweight and they fold down for travelling.

This model is made from a new water resistant dark brown poly cotton canvas that replaced the old fashioned oiled cotton, so the new hats are lighter and don't have any oil transfer. The hats have a slightly wider brim to better protect you from the sun or rain, are foldable and come with integral chin strap for windy weather. Please note these hats are not supplied with a calico travel bag.

The hats come up on the small side and we encourage people to wear a hat as loose as they can possibly get away with without the hat falling off your head. To get a good fit, measure the circumference of your head, one inch above your eyebrows, in a comfortable fit (i.e. not too loose and not too tight - as you would like the hat to feel on your head) and then select a size. If you fall in between sizes we recommend to go for the size up, so for example a 58.5cm head measurement, we would suggest a Large 59.5cm hat.
